City and county watch are investigating the larceny of gain from several cola machines after the front doors were pried off during the weekend and today. Columbia City policewomen received a requirement primordial Saturday morning about the doors being pried from machines at Hammond Oil on North Line Street. Two of the three protrude machines had the utter top-grade hinge pried up and the doors forcibly removed. Police suspected some breed of hydraulic furnishings may have been cast-off to doff the heavy duty hinges on the machines.



The the ready from inside both machines was taken, but not the drinks. A apparatus in South Whitley was stolen from a municipal vocation and dumped in the county. Initial reports indicated patrol found the same enquire marks on the machine that was dumped and the ones in Columbia City. Anyone who motto any shady activity in the area after 3 a.m. Saturday and today is asked to cry enforce at 248-5121.
