PHILMONT - The village of Philmont’s mayor wants to project a dispatch to those accountable for a fresh wild of graffiti. "If they’re caught they will be prosecuted," said Mayor Clarence Speed. "We’ll do all we can." Two buildings in the village - the Minkler-Seery American Legion Post and the Family Dollar Store, both on Main Street - have been spray-painted, according to Speed. "We power-washed [the Legion building], but we couldn’t get it off the wood," said the mayor.



Speed said that town governmental agencies would stand up an wink out for the culprits. "I spoke to the supervise responsibility and the moderator and they’re on board," he said.
