A add of Houston ISD schools were scheduled to unagreed their doors this matinal (Tuesday, Sept. 23) for the first off set since Hurricane Ike tire down on the Gulf Coast Sept. 12, and several others have already been added to the enumerate to reopen Thursday. Among those that have now had knack restored are Johnston and Lanier waist schools and the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
Staff will profit today to develop those campuses for students to renewal Thursday. Schools in the Examiner coverage areas that were set to pick up this forenoon were Condit, Cunningham, Gordon, Horn, Pilgrim, Rice, T.H. Rogers, St. George Place and Twain elementaries; Grady, Pershing, Pin Oak, Rice and T.H. Rogers heart schools; and Challenge, DeBakey, Lamar and Westbury spacy schools.
