Onalaska, WI (WXOW)- Carolers shared their recess pith with those who walked through set aside doors, today. Major Curtiss Hartley, his wife, along with ten other extraction members played carols and sung together at Salvation Army red kettle locations take a shine to the Walmart in Onalaska. Hartley's brood is in city for the Thanksgiving festival and they resolute now would be a great spell to present on a set tradition. "Years ago when I was a childish child, growing up in Kansas we use to have offspring get togethers over the Thanksgiving break and my mom and dad were Salvation Army officers in Kansas and we would do the same kinda activity on Friday morning. Divide us into unconventional groups and turn us out all over hamlet to do music at the Salvation Army red kettles," says Major Curtiss Hartley.



The subdivision continued on to other locations in the manner of K-mart, Shopko and the La Crosse Festival Foods. The La Crosse Salvation Army hopes to advance 150 thousand dollars in the red kettles this year.
