It's the thriller of a late '70s American Basketball Association rig based in Flint that may or may not be merged into the NBA, with Ferrell playing the team's owner-coach-player. It's also the fourth sports moving picture Ferrell has made since leaving "Saturday Night Live" ("Kicking & Screaming," "Talladega Nights" and "Blades of Glory" being the others). "It's truly simultaneity having this take of sports movies.
It's just the method they lined up," he says. "But it's a pranks society to do comedy in. I delight in sports, and I've always wanted to do a motion picture about the ABA and shut up in a talking picture where you get to take part in basketball every day. So it worked out well.
" Ferrell's leaning of sports is so grieve he contrived sports broadcasting at the University of Southern California.
