TOMORROW HEAR THEM ROAR: Or do they bark? We're not sure, but Prospect Park Zoo's "Samba With the Sea Lions" should be a properly clarion event, between performances by Brazilian drum whole Samba New York! and whatever family of trick the animals make. While you're there, use your "spidey" quickness to grade Discovery Trail's newest attraction: a 6-foot-wide trap made of mucilaginous rope. "Samba" runs twelve o'clock to 3 p.m., set free with entry ($6 for adults, $2 for kids).

Prospect Park, enter at 450 Flatbush Ave.; 718-399-7339. GOTHIC HERO: What's an spare slight rogue named Edgar Allen Densmore to do when he doesn't up in at Piedmont Private School? Throw moonlight parties with the decaying creatures in the stone garden on his school's rooftop, of course.

So it goes in "Gargoyle Garden, A New Musical," one of the few family-friendly offerings at this year's Fringe Festival. 2:30 p.m., also Wednesday at 8 p.m., $15. Bleecker Street Theatre, 45 Bleecker St., between Lafayette and Mott streets; ticketweb.com.
