Union and Cherokee county schools welcomed students back Monday, and a few Upstate year-round schools began their year earlier in the summer. Jesse Boyd Elementary School manageress Margaret Peach called the view a well-oiled machine when it comes to from the start period organization. Students were welcomed in by smiling teachers fixed case classrooms that have been valueless for nearly three months.
