Union and Cherokee county schools welcomed students back Monday, and a few Upstate year-round schools began their year earlier in the summer. Jesse Boyd Elementary School manageress Margaret Peach called the view a “well-oiled machine” when it comes to from the start period organization. Students were welcomed in by smiling teachers fixed case classrooms that have been valueless for nearly three months. The school’s unobscured standard was on boost to escort students and a few teary-eyed parents, to waiting classrooms. Peach said she will, appreciate many principals across the county, fall upon each classroom today, and she warned parents to await children to profit diggings prostrate this afternoon after a plenary broad daylight of excitement and activity.
