A issue of Houston ISD schools were scheduled to communicate their doors this matutinal (Tuesday, Sept. 23) for the start organize since Hurricane Ike hole down on the Gulf Coast Sept. 12, and several others have already been added to the register to reopen Thursday. Among those that have now had faculty restored are Johnston and Lanier midst schools and the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Staff will restore today to equip those campuses for students to show up again Thursday.



Schools in the Examiner coverage areas that were set to take up again this matinal were Condit, Cunningham, Gordon, Horn, Pilgrim, Rice, T.H. Rogers, St. George Place and Twain elementaries; Grady, Pershing, Pin Oak, Rice and T.H. Rogers medial schools; and Challenge, DeBakey, Lamar and Westbury towering schools.
