The Pioneer Press is advantageous to herd community conversations about newscast and moving spirit in the Twin Cities. As hosts, we look forward guests will show regard for each other. That means we don't augur or defame each other, and we protect conversations free of personal attacks. Witty is great. Abusive is not.
If you dream a delivery violates these standards, don't escalate the situation. Instead, pennon the footnote to siren us. We'll take exercise if necessary. It's not hard. This should be a scene where people want to read and furnish -- a place for spirited exchanges of opinion.
So those who keep up with racist, defamatory or opprobrious postings imperil losing the privilege to post at all.
